I first published this book in Japan in 1996. Since then, an English translation has been published by a U.S. publisher, and it has gone through multiple reprints, being read by people all over the world. As a busy author, I haven't had much opportunity to hear direct feedback about the book, but now that I have a bit more time, I decided to open this forum to share the thoughts and behind-the-scenes stories of the readers and the making of the book.

THE GALAXY OF STRATS This book was published in Japanese in February 1998. Although there is no English version, I have introduced some parts that I translated myself on the front page of this website. Unfortunately, most publications today use digital cameras, but this book was photographed with an analog medium-format camera, so we cannot republish it without first digitizing the original film negatives, which is quite costly. Therefore, a reprint or English publication is currently undecided. However, I feel very fortunate that we were able to photograph these instruments, which hold a very important place in the history of guitars, in 1998. So, if there is anyone interested in this book or anyone who has seen the Japanese version, I would love to hear your thoughts.
